Summary
A bit of a confrontation between Jonathan Kent and Lex Luthor. Lex is in love with Clark. He doesn’t want to say it, he never will. Not in a million years, not after the sun explodes, not after the death of the universe. Never. No one will know of this. He doesn’t even know of this. Pa Kent was worried about it. There was no reason to trust this young man who was obsessed with his son. Lex is…the word Jon would use is stunted and that did warrant sympathy. But the man was dangerous even to someone like his son, especially someone like him.

Did ya’ll know that Lex is supposed to be 21 at the start of the show and Clark was meant to be 14?
Kinda gives another perspective on why John might not have wanted Clark and Lex to be so close. Who would be okay with a grown man being so interested in their pre-teen?
Or
Lex didn’t know how old Clark was at first because he developed early given his alien genes. He struggles to see Clark for his age and eventually just says fuck it, I don’t care.
