In reality it took all of three seconds, a regular interval for deciding something, for Yeonjun to sit down. When Soobin plays it back, the memory lengthens until he’s able to decode every passing emotion on Yeonjun’s face. He’s unreliable, seeing things he wants to see, but he swears there’s just something there that looks achingly similar to how he feels.

Soobin moves across the country to get away from his parents and joins the South Impact volleyball team.

Summary
Yeonjun shrugs. “You look like you have an opinion about that.”
Soobin laughs to himself, both surprised by Yeonjun’s bluntness and amused. It’s clear he’s under the other’s skin, like a piece of splintering wood. Does it itch? Does it sting? Does Yeonjun just have to know what he’s thinking?
Yeonjun waits with this look that has no translation, just something visceral. And Soobin finds he likes it. He likes the way that leather stretches over his chest. He likes the idea of Yeonjun obsessing over an offhand comment from Soobin. But most of all, he likes that he was right.
Soobin shakes his head, a simple smile on his lips.
“I don’t have an opinion.”

Summary
“You're so sappy,” Soobin says. But when Yeonjun tightens the grip on Soobin's hand, Soobin wants to say that Yeonjun is always worth remembering, too. Maybe that is why Soobin likes to photograph Yeonjun so much. Take a picture, it lasts forever.

Summary
Soobin doesn't say anything for a moment before he moves his arm to rest on the back of the sofa, shuffling closer until their legs are touching. Yeonjun has to force himself to not flinch as the younger’s lips twitch into a smile.
“Hyung, are you possibly…” he trails off, gaze wandering the olders face, briefly landing on his lips before returning to his eyes. “Are you interested in me?”
Yeonjun bites the inside of his cheeks, afraid that with their proximity Soobin could hear how fast his heart was beating from how nervous he felt. “Maybe. Are you?”
"Do you want me to be?"

Yeonjun wasn't a gamer, but then he gets a hand-me-down PC from his younger brother and finds himself spending hours playing games. All for a specific someone, who his brother explicitly tells him to stay away from.

"How's Soobin?" Yeonjun asked, going straight to the point.
"He's…having a hard time," Jisoo sighed, pinching the skin between his furrowed brows at the top of the bridge of his nose, "He's been rather aggressive so doctors advised us to find him an omega to help him through it."
Those words struck him like thunder on a summer day, something ugly twisting in his stomach.
"We are looking through a few of his past partners, preparing NDAs—"
That feeling crawled up his chest, sinking its claws in his pulsing heart, throat tight, and Yeonjun blamed that feeling for what he said next:
"I can help him."
Or: the one where Yeonjun helps Soobin through his rut. (only to save their team from unnecessary paperwork, of course)
