Summary
A cold, snowy night. She walks through the blizzard not because she wants to, but because fate and circumstance combined to have her out here. All she needs to do is get home, and preferably not die in the process.
She completed the latter task. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about the first.
She never made it home.
News outlets would express confusion mirrored by the experts, as any sign of her existence just disappeared in a spot. A spot in time, a spot in location, a spot in signal. They knew where it happened. They knew when it happened. Some would even claim they knew exactly what she was doing at the time. But they didn't know how, and no one could figure it out, much to the chagrin of those who knew her. The case of Evelyn Brown was an interesting one, but for some time one that provided no satisfaction to those that knew her. Despite that difficult, one that had experts in every field stumped, it's very simple really.
She walked into a Nexus.
