Jason didn't know why he hadn't thought of it sooner. When all the rich people of Gotham travelled(and boy did they travel a lot), their big, fancy houses were big, fancy, and empty. Perfect for a bit of squatting.
Jack and Janet were travelling, meaning their manor would be a perfect target.

Okay… okay. Um- hello? Hi. This is uh- William Wisp, Archival Assistant at the Prime Institute…None of our more uh- high tech equipment has been recording statements down here properly, Tide said it's something about the thick walls and the fact that we’re in a basement. Why you would have an archive in a basement is another thing-
(Sigh)
Nevermind. The point is we’re going to be recording these statements onto Tape Recorders and organizing those and storing those as well as the statements.
It may be a slow process though because the current Archivist has not kept this place in check. It’s a complete mess in here! Papers are all over the place, filing cabinets in the back were upended, and some of the statements look like they’ve been set on fire?
