A cough of blood sprayed out of his mouth, no dought his lungs trying to push whatever was stuck in them out. He felt the Captain’s hand pat his shoulder as he tried to splutter out a word.

He's pretty sure this isn't quite what the Armourer meant.
According to his Creed, Din is now an apostate, dar'manda, no longer Mandalorian, yet he is also Mand'alor courtesy of a weird laser sword that he can't seem to get rid of.
In which Din tries to reconcile with his new titles, goes on a journey of self-discovery, and does his best to ignore the incessant ringing noise emanating from the cursed blade on his belt (but that's ok because he’s starting to get the sense that the feeling is mutual).

Summary
Early in his career Din had been warned about Felucian plant life. He should’ve passed the warning onto Cobb before they landed. In both their defences; Cobb hadn’t intended to fall face first into the neon blue fungi when he slipped chasing their mark and Din probably should’ve put his helmet on despite his misgivings about where he currently stood vis a vis his Creed.
Din and Cobb working together, falling together, accidentally getting sex pollened together.

He expected his new partner to be a bit wet behind the ears, naive, and more than likely not ready for the wake-up call that was the Colombian cocaine trade. He expected to have to coddle the man. Keep him out of trouble, and more importantly out of the way, until he either learned the ropes or gave up and went back to Miami like a lot of the agents that wound up down here.
He had not expected this. Murphy was tall, long lean lines that sauntered over to the entrance where Javier stood, kicking out his feet with every step to stretch legs that had likely been cramped even in a Jeep. He was blonde, hair slicked back a little too much, in a way that when combined with his oversized suit spoke of an awkwardness stemming from a desire to impress. He had a crooked smile as he approached Javier with his hand stretched out in greeting, both self-sure and earnest in a way that was immediately disarming.

Summary
For over a decade Din Djarin has always felt a pull towards the Outer Rim, little did he realize it was his soulmark leading him to the man who was his soulmate. The only problem, is that when Din finally meets him, the man in question has no idea they are soulmates. Din believes that his soulbond may be one sided, until he learns the dark truth of what happens to slave children on Tatooine.
Soulmate AU, where everything is the same but most everyone in the galaxy has a soulmark and very few ever find the one who shares the same mark upon their skin.
