Summary
When the Rattlers caught the intruder by the resort cells, bleeding on the white marble, joining her smears with the bright red door, they pulled her all the way to the pool. One runner left chained and gnashing; shoved her forward and let it grab, pull, gnaw. And all the while she kept on laughing.

The Doctor has quite a few wives, the best of which appear inanimate to the uninitiated. All of which are bigger on the inside. There is one loose end to be tied, one to be cut, and another to tangle herself in eternally.

Summary
The Ravagers were too late to stop Tecteun from recapturing Time and leaving the universe. All that is left is the Earth, the epicentre of clashing invasions merging across the history of the human race. The person who goes by the title ‘Doctor’ now remembers nothing of what the planet once meant to her, and as fun as it has been to protect in an unending game, the time has come for her to finally grow up.
One other planet remains in the dead universe, right on the edge, sealed away. Once, it was called Gallifrey. Now, its surface gleams silver with Cyber cities, ruled over by their eccentric King. To the Doctor, he is insignificant, but he's been waiting for her. He never stopped.

Summary
Torn apart in an explosion at the edge of the universe, two Things (newly capitalised) lose their perfectly-mimicked memories and pick out important lessons from what's left. Most importantly, the constancy of war, the chemistry of salt, and the immutable narrative role of monsters.

Summary
The Doctor left a ghost behind. It’s a decent enough approximation—the AI had thousands of years of training data to fit—but the Doctor’s holographic spectre would be the first to remind Yaz that their continued correspondence is far from healthy. Tough. As if the Doctor knows the first thing about healthy reactions to loss. But the nano-implant housing the copy of the AI will only last so long—at least, in its current form. Sooner or later, Yaz will have to say goodbye.

Summary
I see the coconut crab who swims in your neighbour's pool at night. Maybe Simon's in there, too. Who else holds their breath in there, Betty?
Betty is being digested by Golb. She doesn't have time to dwell on this, though, she has to secure a place in a decent research program and launch her career as an antiquarian. It would help if she could sleep at night. There's something wrong with the pool next door.

Summary
Two Banuk children follow a trail of ancient light to a ruin underground. They follow it for different reasons, but with the same, heart-deep hunger. For one, solving this mystery might give him the answers that the Shamans of the Werak refuse to share. For the other, it's far simpler. It called to him, and he answered.

Summary
After a tough couple of weeks spent protecting the streets from Sontarans and just about every other militant alien race in the universe, Ace is kicking back in her fancy apartment, trying to shake the feeling that there is still something very wrong with the universe. No thanks to UNIT, by the way, they've been out of the picture for years. Supposedly, Kate Stewart died in a suspicious case of alien-bomb induced arson, but Ace never really believed that story. They were on-again, off-again something-or-other, once upon a time—so when Kate turns up alive and unsettled outside Ace's flat, she isn't sure what to expect.

Summary

Unbeknownst to her, her clone Aloy has spent the last year working to save the planet Elisabet believes is doomed to Nemesis, idealizing Elisabet herself all the while. Summary
Turned to stone, in the moment before she is recalled, the Doctor finds a way out. That's the thing – number one takeaway from all her years spent travelling – there's always a way out. Sometimes, they're less than ideal. Less than conventional, or corporeal, or entirely pleasant. Because she is an angel now, an image in a human mind. In the only mind she would trust to keep her safe, even as her new state of being unravels the person she thought she was, before she realised the truth.
She has done this before. -

Summary
Professor Smith – or, the Doctor, as he prefers to be called – began working at St Luke’s University as a professor of ‘basically everything’ in September, 1946. Soon after, another strange character turns up, possessing extensive qualifications and glowing accolades of his own, Dr Sami Armet. The young man has a curious effect on time, and Professor Smith begins to suspect that his new colleague might be stalking him.
The campus is haunted by a ghost underground, the city is still in the process of rebuilding after the Bristol Blitz, and the populace are gripped by the beginnings of nuclear anxiety – of greater conflict yet to come. Peace was won, but how long can it last?

Summary
Jón and I are here to die, or, to live before we die. That’s retirement.
We both had very important jobs, on an intergalactic, inter-universal scale. We worked for an organisation that safe-guarded all of time and space, and the harmony between them. I don’t remember what it was called, if it was called anything. Encapsulated by anything as small as a word. I don’t remember what we did or what my real name is. What my name was.
I chose my new name, and it is Anna.I think I might be going insane. It fits with my whole persona; the tortured, batty artist living out in the middle of nowhere. I get the strangest feeling that someone is watching me, from inside the clock, and from my canvases. From the walls.
Jón laughs at me, of course, but one expects that in marriage.
