Summary
“Wait,” Steve grabs Eddie's hand before he flies away. “Stay?” His eyes are worn and a hint of fear shimmers underneath.
“This is really scary,” he admits. “I don’t know what’s going on and I don’t know when I’ll suddenly disappear. Maybe I’ll just disappear for good? It’d be nice if there was someone familiar around. Plus,” Steve adds with a weary grin, “you were probably busy before I intruded.”
In 1984, Eddie finds himself in front of a rugged version of the preppy jock he’s only peripherally aware of at school. Compelled by Steve's tale of time travel, Eddie invites him to hide in his trailer until he can return to his proper place and time in 1986.

Summary
The beast stops, gaze narrowing at the pulse pounding in Eddie’s neck, and he quickly slaps a hand over it, trying to limit the temptation of the tasty-blood slash fresh-meat vibe he must be giving off.
Robin scowls at Eddie, stepping forward to bury her hand comfortingly into the plush of its furry neck. “Don’t listen to him, Steve. He’s just being a big baby."
Eddie has never been a normal type of guy, but he's owned it: he's a gay metalhead in the heart of small-town America and nothing's going to phase him. Nothing except being told that his recent demo-bat injuries might turn him into a shapeshifter like Steve Harrington.

Summary
Steve thinks back to his promise on the kitchen counter: the truth. “Just struggling with looking like this,” he waves a hand over his face and neck, trying to encompass what ‘this’ is.
Eddie leans in to nudge him with an elbow, “A total smoke show?”
Laughter bubbles out of his chest and Steve looks on at Eddie fondly. “You’re right, what was I thinking,” he asks wryly.
“Hey, no, Stevie. I mean it,” Eddie grabs his wrist, a warm band connecting them. He raises his other hand to rest a finger on the skin by Steve’s sightless left eye; the exact spot he'd touched after being pulled back to life. Eddie continues, sincerity ringing through his words. “Even if this is weirding you out, it’s a badge of honour. You made the world shift. You raised me from the dead. If you like me even a little, then you have to like the eye. Thems the rules.”
Or: Steve is a witch and accidentally forges a mystical connection with Eddie; meanwhile, Robin despairs over their clueless flirting.

Summary
Eddie is not the type of guy men bring flowers to. He’s not the type to even think that he needs such a sappy gesture. But then Steve Harrington keeps bringing him flowers: a daisy behind his ear, a woven crown to rest above his head, and, finally, a bouquet for their first date.
A 5+1 where Steve woos Eddie, who’s oblivious to Steve’s advances until he’s not. A sweet look at the boys from when they were just friends to far beyond.
