Even before he became "Soap" - hell, before he became "John" - he had always been too tall, too bulky, too… much to sit on someone else's face. At least, not without fearing a significant risk to their health. Fumbling, youth-dumb experiments in the dark never overshadowed that trepidation. No, any time his previous lovers offered to be Soap's seat, he would be more concerned by the idea of accidentally suffocating them than thrilled by the prospect of riding their tongue.
Or, Soap rides Ghost's face.

Soap reached out. His warm - so fucking warm - fingers pressed against Ghost’s. The contact sent a whistling grenade from the back of his hand to the depths of his belly. At the same time, Soap coaxed Ghost’s wrist into pivoting so his boarding pass was more legible at his angle. “Oh, looks like we’re sitting next to each other. How weird is that?”
Oh. Okay. That… no, divine intervention had nothing on this! Absolutely not.

It suddenly struck Soap, then, how pedestrian this all seemed, how so fucking normal. Just a couple having some trouble at the airport, a situation experienced by hundreds of romantic pairs every single day. Even Ghost's mask - normally such a contrast to their surroundings - could not break this illusion. In fact, he could lose Ghost in a crowd of other men wearing black hoodies, cloth masks, and dark joggers, with a pair of bluetooth headphones strung around their necks.
As far as anyone around them imagined, they were vacationers (or… honeymooners) trapped by the bureaucracy of being foreign nationals on United States soil. His heart swooped at that. Wouldn't that be something?
Or, Soap falls in love in an airport.

In fact, the man seemed to revel in flaunting his supernaturally perfect curls, trimmed goatee, and flawless complexion, almost as if to spite his own ailments with his extreme physical beauty.
