He barely even knew the guy, wasn’t even sure if he’s a student here. A friend of that guy had been speaking in fluent Spanish and pointing at him too many times. At first, he thought they were joking about something, though it was a tad bit brazen to do so in a way to the point it was kind of rude. He was standing right there, and he knew a few Spanish words to understand what they were talking about while pointing at him.
Before he could process it, this guy, shorter than him by one head but damn it his looks did make up for his height — he always noticed all Spaniards were either handsome or devilishly handsome, there was never in between — had tapped his arm, gave him a sheepish smile, and said, “Want to do a New Year’s kiss with me?”
It took him exactly ten seconds to give a verbal response and by the time, the countdown had already reached one. “Uh… I guess???”
