While out on patrol, Mydei and Phainon get hit with a curse that binds their hands together.

Summary
Genichiro was often close now, even when he wasn't. Wolf could detect him by his scent alone, and knew when he was walking down a hallway which Genichiro had just passed through. There were several areas throughout the castle which bore his scent permanently. The areas around his quarters, a dojo on the top floors, the lookout tower.
The few times their eyes met, a warmth lingered in the air. Wolf looked at Genichiro and wanted something, but he couldn’t find the words to give it shape. Such things had never been known to him.

Wolf being uneducated about all the blatant scent signals both of them are giving off for each other at the start is hilarious like hmmm I feel weirdly nervous around him and unconsciously seek him out, & he keeps giving me these really charged looks… wonder what all that’s about? HAHAHA 😭
Genichiro horny gripping and trying to hold back SO FUCKING HARD during their journey back, all for it to fall apart upon seeing Wolf murder a man. Just such an inspired choice for him to see Wolf covered in the blood of his enemies and immediately get blindingly horny HAHAHA

Invited to the first Christmas party since Seireitei almost fell to the quincies, Ichigo quickly discovers he's also about to walk straight into Central 46's first opportunity to lay claim to him as the saviour of the three worlds.
Determined to make himself the least palatable kind of hero and throw off the plans of a few dusty old fossils, Ichigo decides to bring a date so awful nobody will want anything to do with him.
He just has to convince Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez to play along, first.

Not only an amazing get together fic, but an amazing ensemble cast fic too! Everyone is so on brand & hilarious, including the OC central 46 character.
Just love how transparently possessive Grimmjow is from minute 1 of Ichigo suggesting this scheme like- I know what you are my guy… HAHAH In general just all the casual touching & the stuff he says “You should be the one crowned in gold and silk, not them.” is so deliciously revealing of his actual feelings whether he consciously knows it or not. And Ichigo realizing this in real time while the fake dating is happening and just GOING FOR IT is so true to character! He didn’t even back down when he thought he got rejected like that’s why he’s the GOAT!!!
