William Schofield sees ghosts. Cue the Great War.[No, it's not a metaphor. He literally sees, talks to, and interacts with the spirits of dead people.

Summary
“You are not Travan Rye,” Baelor commented.
“My lord father left less than a fortnight ago, Your Grace. To Wagstaff. You’ll not find him here.”
Wagstaff. Another minor house, though much larger and more powerful than Rye. They’d declared for the Blackfyres, and, if Baelor’s memory served (and it always did), the current lord had only daughters. No sons.
“And you are?” Baelor prodded.
The boy’s face turned red. “Pardon, Your Grace. I’m his son, Duncan Storm.”
--
Duncan is the illegitimate son of a minor lord who declares for the Blackfyres and leaves Duncan in charge of the keep...just in time for Baelor to show up and start a siege.

Summary
“Perhaps the seeds of madness are sown in the womb.”
Not for Aerion, no. Nor for Egg. But Daeron had always known. Since he was small, he saw the tapestries upon the walls burn above his cradle, and he knew. Drink or delirium, it did not matter. One way or another, his visions would be the death of him.
He had not reckoned he would have to suffer more than one.
The gods want something from Daeron. They must, to have devised so exceptional a hell. For why else would they have him live these days over and over?
If they have chosen Daeron to change the future, they have chosen the wrong man. Daeron is not a hero. He never has been.

Summary
They have thrown the man into the patch of light. He wears dark clothes. Plain. No rings. He has a beard, dark hair. He is in pain, eyes shut tight with it. He's beautiful, or maybe it's been too long since Dunk saw another human who wasn't about to punch him for him to judge beauty properly. Dunk crouches down, touches his shoulder gently. He'd ask if the man was alright, but he isn't.
“My name's Dunk,” he says quietly instead, still touching the man. “There's a loose stone, three up from the ground, and there's a rat that's good to talk to. Sorry you're here.”
When Ser Arlan fights for the Crown at Starpike Castle, his squire, Dunk, manages to get himself thrown in a cell by Lord Peake's men. He might have lost track of the days, but he knows one thing: his cellmate is worth protecting with everything he has.

Summary
When asked in the past by curious sons of what happens when a person dies, Baelor Targaryen sat them down and patiently explained that the Faith of the Seven teaches them that the righteous are blessed in the Seven Heavens as long as they lead a virtuous life and repent for any sin committed. He had never questioned it himself.
Falling to a blow by his brother's mace while defending what was right, even against his own family, Baelor should have been feasting in the Father's golden hall and waiting until the moment he would be reunited with his family. That did not happen.
Instead, the former Prince of Dragonstone woke up far from home and everyone he knew, though the faces he found himself among were not unfamiliar to him. But what does it mean to find yourself in the pages of your family's own history books?

Summary
Dunk sat back, indignant. "I knew what I was promising when I made my oath."
Baelor blinked at him. "You…did?"
"Well," Dunk amended, "maybe not the details. But oaths aren't made to be litigated, or so Ser Arlan used to tell me. You make them, and you live by all they entail, good or ill. That you might live because of my oath seems only a good, Your Grace."
