The firm tone of Jayce’s voice quickly sobers him.
“Jayce, darling, I cannot make the traffic move any faster. Here—”
Viktor reaches blindly behind his seat for a stray twenty-four ounce take-out cup he knows he threw back there a couple of days ago. Empty, of course.
He holds it out towards Jayce in the passenger seat. A olive branch, of sorts.
“V, I’m not pissing in a fucking cup.”
“We’re twenty-five minutes away from home without the traffic. Either you hold it approximately another hour until we’re back—” Viktor gestures at his phone currently propped in its holder, displaying the estimated time of arrival. “You piss your pants, or you piss in the cup.”

It was just enjoying his own company, not wanting to interact with his best friend's new annoying boyfriend, and not having much of a desire to leave the house. He liked is house! He also liked having five minutes of peace, so after months of insisting, Izzy allowed himself to be convinced to teach the middle school class of "Ed's Buddy" a little something about the art of swordplay.
