Summary

Summary
When tragedy befalls the de Chagny family, the Ghost of their past is forced return from the shadows. In the ten years since Erik last saw his beloved Christine, and as they are finally reunited, her life slips away. Shattered, Erik is now left to raise the son he never knew he had. Together, Erik and Charles struggle through their new reality and their grief over Christine.
If only it were that simple. Those behind the de Chagny murders are now hunting down the sole ‘heir.’ The only way to protect Charles is to solve the mystery. In doing so, Erik discovers more of Christine’s secrets that she never had a chance to tell him.

Summary
Ten years have passed since the scandalous affair of the Opera Ghost. Christine Daae's courtship with Raoul de Chagny has crumbled, and she is living in relative obscurity under an assumed name. When a series of murders reiminiscent of the Phantom of the Opera sweeps through prominent European theaters, Christine is forced to confront her past choices and decide whether she is finally ready to embrace the music of the night.
This fic is based primarily on the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, with some of the pacing elements from the 2004 film. Love Never Dies does not exist in this universe.

Summary

Summary
Christine studied the small window curiously, some instinct telling her that was precisely where she had felt the eyes upon her back when she had turned away from the house. Perhaps it had been a housecat prowling along a windowsill, and it had lost interest in her as something inside had caught its attention.
Nodding to herself with satisfaction, she turned back to the house for which Father Mansart had given them the key.
“Well, Christine,” her father stepped halfway inside, one foot on the threshold as he gestured for her to follow him, “what do you think?"
Summary: Gustave Daaé, down on his luck as a traveling musician, accepts a position as a groundskeeper at the Abbey of St. Georges in Boscherville, Rouen, bringing his daughter with him. Christine loathes the idea of being unable to travel the world with her father, but between the ghost in the choir loft, the eyes without a face in the attic window in the house next door, and the young viscount who changes the course of her future, she becomes wrapped up in more than she expected from the quiet town.
