Summary
Ghost gets assigned a new Ghost Hunting partner while Toast is…away. He doesn’t handle it very well. Doesn’t handle anything very well without his best friend there. He starts a few fights, pushes away anyone who tries to help in his desperate attempts to get him back.
He does, just barely, but in the process he falls headfirst into a government wide conspiracy, dragging a few stragglers with him.
Ghost never wanted to be the one to save the world, but his unique skill set makes him the only person who can. Will he, Toast, and his reluctant (mostly on his end) new friends be able to stop the coming disaster before it’s too late?
(AKA I embrace my cringe and become my true form: even more autistic about P.I.E. Includes a frankly impressive amount of projection.)

A loose rewrite of P.I.E! In which I take all the things I like about canon, (if anything vtale related can even be called canon) and throw it in a blender, along with some of my own original lore to fill in the gaps- and also just for fun.
It’s not very long as of yet, but I’ve got big plans, and am hoping to make it into the biggest fic series I’ve ever written, both in terms of worldbuilding, and word count.
Update schedule: I write five chapters, and then post them once a week on Saturday’s. Once the five are gone, I take a break to finish the next five, and so on. I do have a tendency to write slowly, as well, so don’t be surprised if it’s been a while since the last update- if I ever decided to discontinue this series, I would say so explicitly, and I highly doubt that will happen, anyway. The P.I.E autism is strong within me.
