Summary
He was cold. All he could remember was the cold and his music. He could feel hints and scraps of what he once was, memories stored in… somewhere he forgot the name of, not that he would retain the information for more than a second if he could find it. This was better than before, a mercy compared to when he was… was? The beginning of a rare thought was blown away with the wind. He tried to curl up into himself and clutch his music closer as the blizzard ate away at what was left of him, familiar in a way he is incapable of placing.
Five Pebbles has been sitting in the blizzard for far to long, but when an unknown iterator finds a way to detach puppets from their cans, Pebbles' local group rescues Moon and him. He now must live with what has happened to him rather than wither away.

An AU where Suns realised their mistake earlier and decided to tell Moon before it was too late.
Are they really going to accept his death already, before it’s already certain, do nothing because of their reputation? They have truly sunk to a new low for iterator kind. Deep down, they know that his metaphorical blood would be on their hands, no matter how much they try to justify their own pathetic actions. They made the worst mistake they could have made, and Pebbles is the one who will pay for it.

No matter how much their reputation may suffer, even if Pebbles hates them after, they can’t let him die. There has to be something that can be done. They needed a way to kill the experiment and stop him from doing it again.

Ever since he had first been created, Five Pebbles had always felt an underlying sense of wrongness. He doesn't know what, he just knows that he hates it. He has searched and scanned his structure for the issue but no errors came up, even when his creators were still around.
