Shane didn’t answer. Instead, his gaze dipped to the floor.
The blood drained from Ilya’s face. ‘Shane?’

Hands tracing over the column of his throat and pulling the collar of his shirt to the side and teeth sinking into the flesh and oh so tactfully avoiding where permanent mating bites go. A sort of finesse he can’t imagine coming from Sam. The kind of skill he’d imagine his brother would never have the chance to develop until right now when it’s being displayed on him.
“You done yet?” There’s no bite or bark to Dean’s tone. There’s more of a waver really, the kind he has to bite back and try not to let show through too strong. His brain feels melty.
