Summary
After Sam and Jay take a (traumatic for Sam) hiking trip through the Canadian Wilderness, they come across a gold heart necklace in a local antique shop. They discover Jackie Taylor, soccer superstar and first on the menu, is bound to the necklace after being rejected by the wilderness. Sam agrees to bring Jackie back home where she meets a friendly group of ghosts.

She knows where she is. At least, that’s what she’s told the flurry of doctors and nurses that have come in to see her. They just ask her questions, but they won’t answer any of hers.
There’s a lot of things that Tai knows now that she didn’t know before. The first thing she noticed when they were rescued was how dirty she was. Their saviours, if that’s what they’re calling themselves, had skin that was almost translucent, soft and smelling of soap. She hadn’t smelt that in a while. None of them had.
Another medical professional pushes their way into her room. She ignores them, feeling only the twitching of the drips that are plugged into her arm. ‘Feeling okay, sweetie?’
Fucking idiotic question. ‘Where’s Van?’ -

So, when they barrel into the kitchen (last week they left the keys in the fridge somehow, maybe they’re there again?) and glance at the white envelope sitting on the table, it’s like a bucket of freezing water has been thrown over them.
They haven’t opened it. Not yet. But they know the handwriting. And they can guess what’s inside.
They can go a few more mornings without opening it.

Ever since their fateful crash in 1996, the Yellowjackets tragedy has captured public fascination like nothing else before or since. As their disappearance and eventual recovery coincided with the growth of the modern internet, an online fandom has always existed, whether in the form of newsgroups, blogs, forums, subreddits, or hashtags. Compiling it all would be impossible, and much of it has been lost to time (particularly since the death of Geocities), but several cataloguing attempts have been made. This is one of them.

Summary
Shauna Shipman has her first (and God willing, last) kid at seventeen years old. Her parents raise Callie while she goes off to Brown. "Until you can support her," they say again and again.
And then college is over, and Shauna is back in town, trying to reconnect with the four-year-old daughter she barely knows. She's not sure she can support herself, let alone Callie.
But it just so happens Shauna knows Callie's Pre-K teacher pretty well already. Or did, anyway. Back before everything blew up.
"Miss Taylor," Callie calls her.
Frankly, Jackie is a lot better with kids than Shauna is.
