Grantaire could not believe his ears. He knew Enjolras came up with at least three crazy ideas a day, but none as crazy as that one. Grantaire could deal with graffitiing official monuments, staging illegal protests in the Place de la Bastille or sabotaging army steamboats, but from there to becoming pirates was a huge leap. It was undoubtedly the craziest of his ideas.
And what was worse, everyone else seemed to agree with it.

Grantaire opened his mouth to say something else, but Combeferre returned, his cool energy somehow dousing the fire that had erupted between them. “Luckily, nothing else happened,” he said pointedly. “Let’s take the win for today."
Grantaire groaned theatrically, swiping a hand over his face. “I need a cigarette.” He stalked off, already jamming his hand down into his pocket to retrieve the box.
They watched him go across the park to Jehan.
“You’re safe,” Combeferre continued after a moment. “And no one got arrested. That’s all that matters for now.”
Enjolras wanted to argue, but he knew Combeferre was right.

Then, in strolls Enjolras, the lead dancer of the National Paris Ballet company.
Somehow Grantaire gets himself tangled up in the first ever social justice ballet troupe, and is surrounded by dancers at all times. He should hate it, but he can’t stop being distracted by a certain dancer’s charisma and unfairly pretty eyes.
