The question was vague on purpose.
Noah knew he wouldn’t get Jack to open up about whatever awful shit had happened on his shift by pushing. For one that wasn’t Noah’s style, he preferred determinately waiting people out, and two, pressuring very rarely worked on Jack.
But he also wasn't gonna make out all hot and heavy, and ignore the fact that Jack had just stood there, silently staring at running water with a haunted look in his eyes, like a minute ago."I need this,“ Jack finally said, still not meeting his eyes.
Noah kept his tone neutral. “What exactly?"
"I need you, I — “ Jack dragged another breath in and out of his lungs seemingly only by strength of will “— I need you to come undone under my hands.“
The sentence hung in the air like a confession and a promise.

“I’m- I can’t convince myself to commit to a longer stay,” Robby admits, frustrated by it. “It’d be better for actually getting somewhere with antidepressants, I know, but I feel like once I take away the work and the bike and everything else I do… there’s a clock on how long I can be naked like that. When it runs out, if I’m not back on the right side, I’ll get stuck as nothing, forever.” Robby drops his face into his hand. “Why does this sound like The Little Mermaid?” he moans.
“Is this the kind of place where they throw a black bag over your head and smash your SIM card, or can I still talk to you?” Jack asks.
~ After a scare on his road trip, Robby does two weeks of inpatient care in Wisconsin... and you'll never guess who he uses his phone time on~

Summary
Pieces of story that I wanted to write or sketched out as part of Not Doing It Alone that didn't fit in the main story.
Exploration of the extended found family that Robby and Jack have through the Pitt and how Zoya impacts all of their lives.
There is technically an "end" to this planned, but it will take a while to get there because I'm just planning to have fun with this for a while. I literally have three pages of notebook paper with ideas sketched out.

Robby blinked.
“I just said.”
“No,” Clark said mildly. “You said you’re eating, sleeping, functioning, and in love. Those are all real things. They are also not, in and of themselves, evidence that the underlying structure is sound.”
The room went a little still.
Robby gave a short laugh.
