Gale flushes, if possible, even darker. “You don't have to seduce me, Astarion, I’m already…”
“Already seduced?”

Summary
Gale is a beta...at least that's what the party believes. And why wouldn't they? He smells like one...acts like one...and none of them have seen him nude, so as far as any of them know, he is one...but the reality is Gale is actually an Omega. With the orb blocking his scent and putting his heats on pause, Gale was able to get away with living as a Beta surrounded by Alphas this entire time.
Then one visit from Elminster changed everything.
Now, with his first heat in many years approaching, Gale tried to maintain his secret and hides away in Lenore de Hurst's tower...hoping to ride it out.
But things rarely go as planned and soon he finds himself entangled with a certain Vampiric Alpha.

Summary
After spending months traveling with Tav and the others, everyone finally goes their separate ways. Wyll and Karlach, Tav and Shadowheart, Lae’zel and her new hatchling. Halsin, Jaheira and Minsc convene back at Last Light Inn. The only two to go alone were Astarion and Gale, but Astarion finds himself stumbling upon the wizard after a night out bar hopping and drinking.

Summary
The Shadowcurse creeps into undead flesh like frost. Gale applies the most logical solution to save Astarion: full-body contact. For science. Obviously.
Gale can cuddle Astarion warm through their first night in the Shadow-Cursed Lands—but if he thinks he gets to save someone else while planning to sacrifice himself, Astarion has a few objections to make.
Canon compliance: Takes place in Act 2 just after arriving in the Shadow-cursed Lands and is mostly compliant except for the way the shadowcurse works (see notes)
