"If you had asked Osha at fourteen where she thought she would be in a decade, working in a mechanic’s shop in a small town in the middle of nowhere would not have been the answer. Back then she had been at the top of her class at the prestigious catholic school that took her in when the rest of her family died in a fire. The nuns there had big plans for her. Quite a few of them believed she would take up the veil herself. Others thought she’d become a teacher after she graduated, eventually meet a nice and rich young man and leave them to be a housewife. Certainly, none of them expected her to drop out before completing her senior year. Honestly, Osha was probably the most surprised of all, but that was exactly what happened."
Inspired by the most famous corrupt lovers, Bonnie and Clyde. An AU set in the American Great Depression with crime and romance and maybe some other stuff. I don't really have a plan here.

Osha has been skating since she was a little girl, and though her moms wanted her to play hockey alongside her sister Mae, her heart was drawn to figure skating. Now she's nineteen and an elite competitive figure skater training under retired skater Sol. She's never managed to win a major medal and has to work multiple jobs to fund her training, a schedule that has become too exhausting to mantain. Then one day Sol comes to her with the news that an old colleauge of his, Vernestra Rwoh has offered to fund her training under the table. But could this mysterious offer be too good to be true? And is it in anyway related to the mysterious handsome Stranger in all black that keeps showing up to watch her at work and at the rink?

“And why exactly can’t I come with you?” She grumbled when her sighing didn’t catch his attention.
Qimir dropped what he was doing and padded over to her side of the bed, giving her a sympathetic look that would have been endearing if Osha wasn’t so annoyed with him.
“I told you Osha,” he said softly. “It’s too dangerous. You’re not ready yet. Your powers are still too volatile. You need more training.”
“If it’s dangerous I should be with you.” Osha snapped. “How are we supposed to protect each other if were apart?”
“I know exactly how you feel.” He soothed. “You know I wouldn’t be leaving you alone if I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary.”

Summary
Villain kids do not make friends, they make alliances, and even those are short lived. Mal and Mad Maddy used to be inseparable, but thanks to Mal’s jealousy that relationship quickly went sour. One messed up prank was enough to break the bond between Mal and Uma. Sometime over the course of their childhoods’ Jay and Harry’s camaraderie turned to hatred.
