Summary
John hoped that a holiday away from Baker Street would clear his mind of a certain infuriatingly sexy and tragically disinterested consulting detective. So far, it hasn’t gone well.
It goes even less well after the consulting detective gives him a call.

Summary
Sherlock fled London a couple of years after John left him in hospital with nothing but an old walking stick and a half-hearted goodbye.
Rosie grew up thinking that Sherlock died when he committed suicide in front of her father by jumping from Barts' roof.
So it's somewhat awkward when they run into each other in a Sussex general store between the loaves of bread and the Mars bars...

Summary
He sits across from me and sips his tea with a little hum of contentment. I try not to be too conspicuous in my examination of him. The way the sunlight picks up the gold in his hair and makes his head almost glow. The way the fabric of his jeans creases under his knees. The way he sits, his posture; the angle between his open legs and the way he plants his feet on the floor. Solid, comfortable, relaxed. We gravitate towards each other; find equilibrium in each other’s presence. I wish I knew if he loved me the way I love him. I sometimes think he does, but to act on assumptions and be rejected would kill me.

Summary
A seemingly straightforward case has Lestrade calling for Sherlock's help. Written from John's POV, this story takes place two months after the events in "The Great Game" and follows the investigation of the murder of Veronica Havisham: seventeen, popular—and murdered in Hainault Forrest on a Friday night in June.
Beta by the fantastic disastrolabe. You can find the lovely, funny illustration queenstardust did for the story at my Livejournal: http://stardust-made.livejournal.com/30908.html
