Summary
An Experiment, against all odds, has escaped the facility they had known all their life, and finds themselves near a small rural town named Faraway.
Terrified of humans, and incredibly ignorant of the world outside the labs, the Experiment stays in the outskirts of the town's forest, barely sustaining themselves with trash scavenged during the night and what little animals they were able to hunt. That is, until they are discovered by the local gang of Hooligans, where they might just learn how to truly live.

A fully recovered Hollow Knight is starting to feel at peace. Sure, there were some restless and interrupted sleepings, how could there not be after what they’ve been through? But they’ve gotten past desperately repeating a mantra in their head, past the guilt of never being pure. Past the constant terrors of sleep. They had such loving siblings and friends to guide them through those times. It took awhile, but the Hollow Knight finally was happy.
They still had one thing that needed to be taken care of.
