He shrugs. “It’s my job,”
“Still, not the most fun way to spend spring break,” he chuckles.
Peter doesn’t know how to tell him that he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else other than here with him.
When Peter gets asked to help the Avengers with a natural disaster clean-up during his first spring break at MIT, he agrees eagerly, just wanting to be with Tony. But when he and his mentor (and the love of his life) take a break to cool off in a natural pool they stumbled upon, things might just go a little sideways. Turns out this spring break might just be one to remember.

He's not proud of it, but he's drowsy and warm, the taste of too-expensive whiskey rolling around his mouth from sips stolen from Mr. Stark's glass, even though he's been legal for three years, and so yes, when Mr. Stark beckons him over from his lean against the lab bench, it's second nature to step close and drop to his knees, to press his cheek against the seam of his jeans, rubbing his face ever so slightly into the thick thigh that he's resting against. It doesn't even occur to him that this isn't the time or place or normal point of order, because the thing is—he's been wanting to go to his knees for Mr. Stark ever since he understood what sex was. Definitely, since he realized just who Tony Stark is over these past few years, with his quiet, earnest kindness and his tumultuous, broody dark days and his terribly fantastic nicknames for everyone he loves.
Peter kneels for Tony, panics, and runs. Tony follows.
