‘You are hungry.’
For Kojiro’s eyes, while soft in his regard of Kaoru, are heavy, the pointed cat pupils blown wide and rounded as a human’s. The heat that radiates off his body is uncontrolled, a furnace cloaked in flesh, almost too much for Kaoru to bear. But he would bear it, always. To be consumed by this fire, to be swallowed up by this sun would be an ecstasy beyond any.
‘I am.’ Kojiro’s voice dips deeper now, a purr on the edge of a growl, and it should be threatening but Kaoru feels the resonant timbre of it sap any remnant desire to run, self-preservation abandoned, given up to the altar of this deity. He softens against Kojiro’s chest, feeling it scald him, almost, but at the same time longing to be rid of the layers of his robes that separate their flesh. ‘Have you the strength to sate my hunger?’
