    In his own mind, Greg knew that he was a mediocre Detective Inspector but an excellent undercover. It’s how he made his rank. It’s how he established his name in the department. Given the opportunity to go at it again, Greg jumps at it. Little does he know that this 'easy as pie' of an assignment was going to lead him to spiral down a road of self-discovery after a phrase ‘triggers’ him into ‘discovered’ memories. Forgotten languages and skills manifest. Greg realizes that he isn’t who he thinks he is.
    He just hopes that he isn’t dangerous to himself, his friends, or his government. If the British Empire even is ‘his’ government. Because Greg isn’t sure who or what he is, let alone what his actual mission might be.

    When Mycroft is attacked, Greg doesn’t hesitate to jump in and defend him. This action brings about incredible changes in his life.
    The advent of which makes him realize exactly how much his life actually crosses over with the Holmes family. Their paths have crossed before. Thier families have met before. Things aren't as simple as they initially seemed.
