“Holy shit, you’re hot,” Hizashi’s mouth sputters without his permission. He slaps a hand over his traitorous mouth as if that could somehow reel the words back in, but based on the pizza boy’s raised eyebrows, he’s less than successful.
Thankfully, the raised eyebrows are the only indication that he’s made a complete ass of himself, and not, you know, a fist in his face. His brain is frantically scrambling for an adequate apology when the weirdly hot pizza guy but also maybe homeless serial killer says in the most deadpan tone he’s ever heard, “Thanks, but we don’t accept compliments as payment. Cash only.”

It's charming. He's charming. Shouta wonders how he hasn't noticed it before.
Maybe the clouds have finally parted from his eyes.
And if Hizashi is the sun, did that mean Oboro was the cloud blocking him from enjoying that beautiful skyline?
The thought makes him feel a twinge of guilt.
