Summary
Albedo, Durin and Hat Guy get philosophical in Nod-Krai about justified killing, whether they should be allowed to exist, what it means to be human etc. There’s also nightmarish cooking, shenanigans and Flins is also there for some reason.
OR: i spent multiple hours constructing sanskrit phrases for this instead of studying
OR: i can’t decide if i wanna write random shenanigans or have the characters discuss human nature and death

Summary
When Durin blinked open his eyes, the first thing he saw was the usual sight of his daily life. The one he always enjoyed in comfort. But he noticed something was off. Something was missing. Something had gone wrong.
**
"Miss Sara. When did that stall go out of business? I thought that lady was still selling there yesterday?"
Sara went to check what Durin pointed at. Then, she laughed tenderly, "What are you talking about, Durin? That stall has always been there."
"Huh?" He became perplexed. Did he remember it wrong?
Why did everything he knew become so different?
**
"I'll send a letter to Hat Guy. Maybe he can lift some weight in my mind."
"That friend of yours..." Albedo paused. There was an unease in his eyes. "Tell me about him later."
Durin blinked twice. Albedo's sudden interest felt so strange. "Huh, okay..."
**
"My Lord." That woman kneeled in front of her master, though he never spared a glance at her.
That man let himself be caressed by the wind of Mondstadt, still contemplating what freedom truly meant.

Summary
"Do we... know each other?"
The words hung in the air between them, heavy and wrong. Durin heard them. He understood them. intellectually, at least. The sounds formed syllables, the syllables formed meaning, the meaning formed a question....
But his heart hadn't caught up....
His heart was still back in the Irminsul realm, watching Hat Guy pull out his own core....
His heart was still on the floor of the Sanctuary, holding a body that wouldn't wake up...
His heart was still hoping, desperately, impossibly hoping, that everything would be okay...
