Summary
When Jason comes back to Gotham after five years training with the League of Assassins, he knows Bruce doesn't care enough about him to take care of the Joker and, therefore, any plan to take the clown down himself is made useless. Why should he try so much when his only father figure alive didn't even care?
So he focuses on his part time jobs and finally getting that literature degree he always wanted so much instead. They don't want him around anymore if the silence that followed Talia's message of him being alive is anything to go by.
Talia told them about him being alive, right? ... Right?

Kaveh’s mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water, then he drops his head in his hands.

Kuni can relate to Kaveh’s expression now. He kinda wants to sit and gape and listen to the sudden way he can hear his blood rushing through his body. Suddenly, the quiet earlier makes total sense. After all, who wouldn’t go silent at the face of one of Teyvat’s most influential people? (Never mind his previous connection to the Archon - after ten years away, she probably no longer recognizes him)

People keep coming up to Kaveh to congratulate him. Kaveh doesn’t really know why, and he’s a little too scared to ask at this point, so he heads back home, content if not a little bemused.
He is, unfortunately, reminded of it the very next day, when the door slams open and Al-Haitham stalks in. “Mind telling me why everyone was congratulating me today?” he demands. “About your pregnancy?"
Or: Al-Haitham is, without a doubt, the most annoying person Kaveh knows. Maybe the world’s second-most annoying person can help Kaveh figure him out.
