    It's been ten years since Rose and the Doctor were left on Bad Wolf Bay, and life is good. Until, that is, they both wake up on the TARDIS, with no idea how they got there, and no idea how to get back home.

    Amy and Rory are used to things going wong: it's a side effect of travelling with the Doctor. But they're not used to things going so wrong that the TARDIS seems to have called in reinforcements from across the multiverse.

    And the Doctor?
    He's nowhere to be found.

    (Takes place post-Journey's End for Rose and Tentoo, between Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and A Town Called Mercy for the Ponds and Eleven, and during her time in Stormcage for River. As canon-compliant as I could make it.)

    A few days (for her) after Berlin, Mels is visited at the Sisters of the Infinite Schism by none other than the Doctor, who says that he's taking her out... not in the same way that she'd tried to 'take him out', but rather in the '...to dinner' sort of a way. She decides to see where this is going.
