“Good morning, Sensei,” Izuku offered weakly, as Kacchan went back to his own task with only so much muttered curses under his breath.
Basically, put two resident powerhouses-problem-children and their teacher in a kitchen after a severely traumatic experience. No one got blown up, surprisingly.

‘Ah,’ thinks Aizawa, and it’s only his commitment to his character which keeps his expression icy. ‘They’re starting this already, then.’

“Are you Shouta?” the shadow-man asks, and his tone is polite but there’s something verging on almost desperate behind it.
Shouta considers. He’s unarmed, facing an unknown person who knows his home address and his first name, he hasn’t slept in thirty-six hours, and he’s wearing kitten-patterned pajama pants. Despite all of that, he’s still confident in his ability to handle himself in a fight, but nothing about this situation is making sense, and it’s sending him slightly off-kilter.
Starting with how the shadow man knows his name.
“Maybe,” he says, after his silence has dragged on a beat too long. “Who’s asking.”
(Aizawa Shouta is two years out of UA, and three years grieving the death of one of his best friends, when a stranger knocks on his door in the middle of the night.)

The term fell from his lips automatically. Logically, Toshinori knew it couldn’t have been Nana, she’d been dead for years, but….
He turned, and the hair became loose, more unkempt, messier, the cape morphing into the capture weapon scarf that Aizawa always wore because, of course, that’s who it was.

They moved into their house a year ago. A little over a year ago, they decided they would rather live together than alone. It was convenient, right? And if they found out rather quickly just how well they worked together then that was for them to know and cherish.
Joel thought it fit to get Etho a gift. A proper gift. It took much planning and careful shifting in both their schedules to make sure they could celebrate. Then Joel would reveal his gift and bask in the glory of Etho’s pleasant surprise. He grinned at the thought.
“Isn’t that right, little guy? Little- little man. Guy. Friend. Cat.” He frowned, shaking his head as he spared one second to look away from the road to the carrier on the passenger’s seat.
The kitten only blinked up at him. He sat flat on his stomach, watching Joel with scared but curious eyes.
Or, as an anniversary gift, Joel gets Etho a kitten. Etho has nearly the same idea. They end up with more pets than either prepared for.
