After three straight days of fighting off the latest interdimensional threat, Barry’s team sounds about sixty seconds away from handcuffing him to the med-bay if it means getting him to sit still, have something to eat, and maybe even get some sleep.
Which is rich, if you ask Len. (Not that anyone is.) Because between the two of them, Barry is the one with a metahuman healing factor, and Len is the one who got shot today.

Summary
Central City, 2013. This was such a bad idea, but on the other hand, it could turn out to be such a good idea. A fantasy that Barry had muttered, half-embarrassed but mostly shameless, against his neck in bed back in 2016.
Len borrows the Jumpship and stops by the recent past with a plan to absolutely rock the world of a Barry Allen who had yet to become the Flash. He didn't count on having nearly so many feelings about this.

During a visit to Iron Heights, Leonard offers to scent him again during a conjugal, so of course Barry's going to do it. It's just scenting, and it's not as if Leonard will have his cold gun. What could possibly happen?

Summary
If there is one thing Buck will always do, it is help people. Doesn't matter what sort of danger it puts him in, or who the person is, he will jump in feet first and get the job done. When he's alone in a parking lot late one evening, of course he's going to run towards the woman yelling that her father is having a heart attack. Why wouldn't he?
When he doesn't show up for his shift the next morning, Eddie and the rest of the 118 immediately know something is very, very wrong. But this time, there's not much they can do about it. There's no ladders to climb, no debris to move. Buck just isn't where he's supposed to be.

Summary
Three weeks after Eddie leaves for Texas, Buck gets a call in the middle of the night from a trauma center in El Paso. Eddie was in a serious car accident and has been rushed into surgery for a skull fracture. Buck rushes to Texas, finding that things are even messier than he imagined, and that's before Eddie wakes up and confesses that he's not sure it was actually an accident. That he might have done it on purpose. So Buck does what his parents never did for him: he steps in, all the way, and helps put his little family back together.

Of course he’s immediately wary of it. Porn videos have never worked for Eddie, so why would the audio version of them be any different? It’s the same strangers faking the same moans and whines as the other actors, just without a pretty face to go with it. Eddie thinks it’ll almost be less effective—seeing every tiny reaction that someone has to what you’re doing to them is part of the fun—so he doesn’t have high expectations. He doesn’t expect it to work.

Summary
Eddie especially likes to think he knows Buck the best.
They’re best friends, afterall. Even in the space of just a few months Eddie has never felt as seen as he is by the man. Buck just gets Eddie. He makes Eddie laugh, he cares about Christopher, goes out of his way to make sure Eddie is okay when their shift is bad. They spend so much time together on and off work, nestling into comfortable routines and habits that Eddie isn’t sure how he functioned without it.
So, it comes as a big shock when Eddie learns something new.
“Who drew this?” He points to a piece of paper pinned to the fridge, a flower drawn in meticulous detail Eddie’s pretty sure he can almost see the way water travels up the shoot of its roots.
“Buck,” Hen replies without looking up from her and Chimney’s card game.

“We literally haven’t moved.”
“You could run,” Bobby says with a shrug. “But then you’d have to deal with Athena.” He steps into the RV.
Turning around, Buck sees Athena standing at the doorway, her hand still in the air. When she catches his eye, something in her expression shifts. He’s seen that expression before. Typically, she uses it on people who are about to flee arrest.

“Buck, Karen, and Eddie stayed on the couch and talked while the kids settled on the floor to draw. It all felt so wonderfully normal that Eddie found himself forgetting that he hadn’t just closed his eyes in serenity as he leaned against Buck.
That’s what made the spell breaking so painful.
“Dad! Look! I drew the firetru- Oh, wait, it’s okay you can see it when you’re all better!” Christopher said it so cheerfully, not even hesitating before going back to swapping out pens with Denny.
But Eddie felt it like a shot to the chest.
He couldn’t see his son’s drawings.
Buck and Karen had barely paused in the conversation, but Eddie could hear how strained it became, both of them obviously knowing exactly how heartbreaking the moment had been. Buck’s arm wrapped more tightly around Eddie’s waist, chin resting on his shoulder.”
losing your sight for a week sucks but at least eddie has buck to guide him through his healing or at least through his own house
