Summary
She smiled lightly at the man standing at the counter, tight and forced. Her hands moving to methodically as she took his order, punching her hand across the screen. Her short hair sat in two loose braids, untamed hairs sticking out in all angles as she moved from the register to the back counter. He watched as she moved about from behind the counter, careful of the two other baristas who seemed to bound about, unaware of the distinct distance she put between them. He obsessed over the way her large square glasses dipped at the bridge of her nose and she pushed them up lightly as she worked.
Felix’s fingers flexed in his hoodie, instinctively curling around his phone as he watched from across the street. How many days has it been? Standing here or sitting parked across the street, watching her as she exited her classes, ensuring she got home safe when she stayed in the library too late.
When did the fixation start?
