Summary
The chaos from the X-Event finally blew over. It had been a few years in his world since the nearly apocalyptic battle for the multiverse, and it hadn't been forgotten, far from it actually, but most things had been rebuilt. There were even monuments for the lives and structures lost, but the scars were definitely still there.
Papyrus moved out, Sans stayed in his rural cottage away from everyone, Toriel and Asgore finally began to stand each other again... And every now and then, Ink would come and check up on how he was doing.
He just really wished he didn't bring trouble with him half the time.
Also, what does he mean by "babysit the guardian of negativity"?

Summary
Reaper is overwhelmed.
His wedding is approaching, his child with Geno is due soon, and the family business never stops demanding his attention. The empire practically runs itself by now, both the legal side and the criminal one, but Reaper is still the head of the family, and people like him never allow themselves to look away for too long.
As if that wasn’t enough, there are still his brothers. Ink and Error are chaos incarnate, impossible to control and even harder to survive. But his biggest concern will always be the twins.
Dream and Nightmare are getting harder to keep close, and in their world, one mistake is enough to lose someone forever.
So when an unwanted suggestion about strengthening their security appears, Reaper makes a decision.
Unfortunately for Nightmare, that decision comes in the form of three former assassins being handed to him as a wedding gift for a ceremony that isn’t even his.

Summary
Nightmare is the guardian of negativity, one of the gods who maintains balance in a vast multiverse. Despite his dark role, he loves his life: he has friends who are like family, a cozy home, a caring brother who visits him frequently, and even a brother-in-law who is always worried about him. Over the centuries, Nightmare has built an organized diplomatic routine, and although the worlds under his protection are not perfect, balance has long been achieved.
To Nightmare, everything seemed to be in place. Or at least, that’s what he believed.
Then, the nightmares began. At first, they were rare, but soon they became more intense, more violent. In his dreams, he saw wars, destruction, deaths – and, worst of all, his loved ones suffering. And, always, he was the cause. Nightmare would wake up sweating, crying, trying to convince himself that they were just passing visions, echoes of his troubled mind.
But deep down, he knew it wasn’t just a bad dream. And no matter how stubborn he was, he couldn’t ignore what was happening for much longer.

Summary
The war against Nightmare has come to an end.
Negativity has receded. The multiverse can breathe again. But some battles do not end when the final blow is struck.
Stripped of the entity that turned him into a symbol of terror, Nightmare awakens in a reality that rejects him, fears him, and watches closely for the slightest mistake. To many, nothing has changed. To others, he is a threat waiting for an excuse.
As the multiverse struggles to reorganize itself, Nightmare is forced to face a role no one wants to name: negativity still exists, and someone must guide it.
Between the council’s reluctance, the quiet support of a few, and the intimate bond that emerges between him, Killer, Dust, and Horror, Nightmare learns that surviving is not the same as being accepted.
This is a story about what comes after the war. About guilt, prejudice, and balance.
And about continuing to exist when the world has already decided who you are supposed to be.Bookmarked by RandomFandomNomad
