Still the Echoes Give Us Light by DoctorTrekkie has many wonderful things about it. From riveting stories to tearjerking moments, it is a wonderful fanfic. But my favorite parts are the characters.

William almost rolled his eyes. “I know he wanted to watch the animatronics earlier, but he’s nowhere near the stage and I can’t find him anywhere else.”
“Nancy, be sure to announce the lost child on stage for the poor mother,” William said, turning to his employee.
“Alright, sir. And, uh, what did you say your son’s name was again?” Nancy asked.
“Jeremy. Jeremy Fitzgerald.” William almost laughed.

The apocalypse has come and gone, and against all odds, Pharloom remains standing.
