Summary
Aventurine spots a new trend rising into the spotlight as Valentine's day approaches. It's nothing spectacular, really, but he receives a response he forgot to account for. Disapproval and disdain. Ouch. It only makes sense to leave. But Veritas does not let him stray too far.

Aventurine retracts an earlier sentiment. He thinks it's okay to let himself be just a little softer around Veritas again. Or at least for now. For as long as he's held like this — cheeks cupped and a thumb being brushed along the side of his face — Aventurine will let himself match Veritas' warmth. That's what lovers are meant to do, he thinks.

And purely because he wouldn’t have risen to the heights of luxury without being utterly shameless, he has the gall to request, “...Show me anyway?”
It is, indeed, a very shameless request to ask of someone. Luckily for him, as it always is, Ratio doesn’t quite mind; whether that was because it didn’t matter where piercings were done, art is art and all that, or that he just drank enough glasses of wine to give him liquid courage. Both possibilities are entirely debatable. He hesitates for a second though, yet ultimately decides the best course of action was to begin tugging down the gray sweatpants, letting it pool around his knees.
Fuck it, he might as well drool.
Ratio has a few secrets up his sleeve, on his back, and inside his pants. All in the name of simply appreciating the aesthetics of body art, a gallery of ink painted on flesh and precious gold etched within it, while spreading knowledge along the cosmos.
