“Yeah? Well now it won’t,” countered Katsuki. “So stop fucking smiling.”

Wilbur and Techno are still struggling with Tommy's hobby, in their defense it’s kinda hard to grasp. It’s not everyday you find out your little brother is at the top of an underground drag racing syndicate where he races for large sums of money.
Tommy knows his relationship with his siblings is already strained, then again Dream didn’t exactly make it better when he decided to bring his brothers to their big showdown. The green bastard might have just torn their already unraveling family apart even more.
Or maybe he’s unknowingly strengthened the bonds.
When Wilbur and techno get a chance to experience driving with their brother first hand, this might be the thing needed to mend the rest of the pieces.
Skeppy and Bad need racing practice anyways and Skeppy is never one to turn down a friendly wager.

"Where are you darling?" His mother asked.
"Paris," Karl answered curtly. "I needed to get away."
"Oh, so you're running away?" His father's voice boomed in his mother's background. "What are you? Six? Running away because you won't eat your vegetables?" He scolded.
"I-" Karl rolled his eyes and scoffed at his father's words.
No longer was he feeling guilty for his mother, though he was, he was angrier at his father and that somehow takes precedence.
"If you're asking me to throw my life away in two weeks, you can let me go to Paris until then," Karl replied curtly.
"You don't have a security detail, we don't know where you are, who you're with. The paparazzi might get you, rebels might get you, you-"
"I'm old enough to get married, I'm old enough to figure out how to not get murdered," Karl told him.
Despite it being the 21st century, Karl's parents decided to tell him, the prince of Kinoko Kingdom, that he is to be wedded through a mutually beneficial agreement with another prince. Yeah, it's as stupid as it sounds. So Karl left to spend two weeks in Paris, and that's where he met someone who swept him off his feet.

"Ranboo," He murmured, fingers gripping onto a gloved hand. "I'm gonna have a nap. You'll wake me in an hour, right, big man? Set my alarm for me, the one- the one that screeches, yeah?"
There wasn't an outright response, just the hum of a drifting spaceship and the croak of a ventilator, but Tommy knew that Ranboo was listening. He always was.

Again, Tubbo made a point not to look at him as he continued to eat. “It was just a shitty situation for everyone involved,” he said, his voice carefully level.
Then, he glanced to Ranboo with steely eyes. As if he was daring Ranboo to ask more.
Ranboo was able to take the hint, and decided not to push it.
