Summary
Spring had come around full force. Trees and flowers finally gave the usually grey and dull city a new colorful coat of paint, the days were longer and one was finally able to ditch the heavy winter coat for a lighter one. Rain and snow have bid their farewells ´til next year, ousted by cloudless skies and outdoor activities.
Birds were singing their carols and showing off their pretty plumages, trying to court their mates. Young couples were making picknicks, enjoying the first warm sunrays of the year...and children were laughing and running around in pure glee about not being stuck indoors anymore.
One person, however, definitely wasn´t enjoying themselves.Din was downright miserable.

The sun is not yet breaking over the horizon when they awaken, still running on the schedule of their previous time zone. It had been a hectic trip to the safehouse, scrambling to get there fast so they could make the most of their limited time off.
Owen wakes first, pinned to the bed by Curt’s sleep heavy limbs, his lover’s head buried in his neck as Curt gently snores. It’s rare for them to be able to relax in the morning, usually having to rush off to one mission or another. Owen luxuriates in their freedom, nestling into the bed and letting one hand travel up to run through Curt’s hair.
OR: In the Summer of 1956, Owen and Curt cuddle, argue, and dance in the kitchen of Ms. Mega's safehouse.

Owen shifts in the back of the van, stretching out his stiff legs. His stomach is tight and coiled, a mix of jealousy and pure nausea. Honeypot missions are always slightly odd, at least from what he’s heard, but it’s quite another thing to be listening in and recording the entire affair. Owen still isn’t sure if it’s better to stay quiet or keep talking, reminding Curt of his presence so he doesn’t get too into it.
OR:
Curt has to sleep with a mark for a Honeypot mission while Owen is listening in and recording. After some performance issues, the two share some uncomfortable truths and revelations.

“Oh, Mega.” Owen hummed. “I may not be a spy,” the anymore went unsaid “but I know a bitch when I see one.” A thought was stirring in Owens mind.
