Summary
What if Penelope became Lady Debling, her husband went on his planned trip, and returned three years later with almost no information about her life in the intervening time?
Greeting a child he had not known existed, or perhaps did not exist as his own child, was not covered by traditional etiquette. It seemed safest just to say hello to Penelope and let her make introductions. She didn’t seem afraid of him.
“Hello Penelope,” he said evenly. “I see some new faces on the estate.”
The boy moved when he looked at him, stepping around Penelope to the man who was standing behind her and slightly to the side. Not coincidentally, the boy’s brown hair was just the shade of Colin Bridgerton, who put a hand down to pat the child and hold his fidgeting fingers.

"If you hate oral," he says, eyeing her lazily, his head back against the grimy booth so he can look down at her, even though his heart is racing. Even though he knows that he's crossing a million lines. He doesn't care. Can't. "Then that means your boyfriend can't eat pussy."

Summary
This year instead of trudging home to her mother’s flat, Penelope has been invited to spend the Christmas holiday with her best friend Eloise and her family. Instead of snipping with her sisters over whipped turnips (less carbs than potatoes), Penelope will be breaking bread with the Bridgertons (carbs be damned)—a real family that is huge and loving and, more specifically, loves Christmas so much that they typically spend the holiday skiing in the French Alps.
And so, for the first time since she was seven years old, Penelope Featherington is looking forward to Christmas.
OR
A week in one of the poshest ski resort towns in the entire world. A week with Christmas themed Bridgerton family hijinks. A week that puts Penelope in insanely close proximity to her best friend's older brother Colin. What could go wrong?
