'I..' Byleth began, before stopping herself. Was something wrong? She looked down at her hands. Her skin had broken in places, replaced with shining black scales. Surprised, Byleth lifted her hand up so her face was reflected in the metal of her gauntlet.
Her hair was a deep, verdant green, and her ears curled up to a point. Her hand froze. Nothing like this had ever happened before. Byleth's head span. As she fell to the floor, she heard rapid footsteps and a splash as her body fell backwards into the water.
