Summary
Here, in the Force with Obi-Wan, Vader felt no pain, no ache, no need. The blood soaked maws of the darkside couldn’t press against the back of his neck and lock down, keeping him in place until he had no choice but to succumb to the raw ache. His limbs didn’t feel disconnected and separate from him, his lungs didn’t hurt, his skin didn’t catch and pull, his guts didn’t seize and twist, his mind didn’t cut and devour.
It was here that Obi-Wan found it.
A desire. Pure, simple, focused. That longing for human connection, unlocked by a simple smile as the early morning dew faded from the blades of grass.

Obi-Wan would be impressed as Anakin’s title as God-King, born from the divine himself, often struck people with awe, terrifying or glorifying, but Queen Amidala’s voice is as strong as her shoulders are squared.
If he is not so horrified that she is speaking to him.
Her eyes had ever so slightly flicked to Anakin. To the sight of him draped over Obi-Wan, decorated in a lavish cloak fitting for a King’s whore.

They had agreed on a system the first time Obi-Wan had asked this of Anakin, his cheeks pink. Anakin would go to sleep bare when he needed a release, and Obi-Wan would take care of him, bringing his Padawan pleasure while he finally rests, a reward for the long days they're forced to endure. Anakin had taken to the idea eagerly, but lately they had both been too exhausted to indulge.
Even with his burgeoning headache, Obi-Wan can't imagine passing up an opportunity to make Anakin cum.

The first thing he notices, or rather person, is Master Qui-Gon looking down at him with a worried expression. It takes a few seconds for Obi-Wan to register what’s out of place for this image.
“Master, you managed to project a body this time,” he observes and something about his voice doesn’t feel right, had it always been that high?
Qui-Gon’s expression doesn’t change much, but it slowly twists into one of confusion.
“Did I not have one before?” he says very slowly.

Anakin and Obi-Wan can't seem to move on (properly communicate) as Force Ghosts so the Force sends BOTH of them back in time, without the other knowing. Anakin regrets everything, Obi-Wan regrets everything, there's a Sith Lord loose in the Senate and WHY CAN'T THE PAST STOP CHANGING, WHO IS DOING THIS!!

Anakin didn't do subtlety well. And right at that moment, they lacked the time to skirt around the subject until one of them figured out how to broach it without setting the other off. A couple hours at most was all they had.
So Anakin bit down on the proverbial bullet. "Do you believe me now?"
Obi-Wan's hands stilled in his hair. His shoulders drew up, tight as a wound spring, and for a long moment he didn't answer.
"I'm uncertain what I believe," he said finally. Quiet, hoarse. Then his throat bobbed, and he looked at Anakin with exhausted eyes. "I know I'm starving. That I miss you. That I hurt you."

Anakin was many things—misguided, proud, foolish—but he wasn’t stupid. The moment he’d cut down the Chancellor, a fog had lifted, revealing a world that wasn’t hostile or out to get him. The world as it truly was, not filtered through the venom Palpatine had poured into his ear.
When Obi-Wan, appointed as his guard for this final night in the Temple, had cupped his cheek, Anakin had glimpsed what hid behind the mask.
Obi-Wan hadn’t been angry with him. The silence hadn't been disappointment.
Obi-Wan had been grieving.

Summary
By the time Anakin is twenty, the easy frequency with which he says “I love you” to Obi-Wan is almost a joke. Everyone certainly takes it as one, not paying them any attention.
Anakin bows with exaggerated drama, winks at Obi-Wan, and then strides away to join Ahsoka by the lifts.
Obi-Wan rolls his eyes, playing into the farce. If he doesn’t, then equilibrium will be lost. "Anakin! No cavorting with smugglers this time!" he calls out to his one-time Padawan, only to get an insultingly dismissive wave, less of an "I heard you" and more of a "sure, old man."
[They are stupidly in love, your honor. Emphasis on stupid.]
