“Dazai,” Mori starts sternly, his gaze boring into Dazai’s one visible eye. “Your next year of school will take place at Brookmans. You will enter the 5th year at boarding, continuing your studies and staying far from trouble in its every form. I have little patience left to deal with this new onset of denial and strongly advise you to shake it before leaving tomorrow.”
Dazai goes still, expecting a far more physical response, but Mori doesn’t seem prepared to act. The boss across from him looks far more aged than he is, watching Dazai like one would an animal prepped for dissection. It’s a weird sensation, not unfamiliar, but weird all the same.
