This Connor is a jaded bitch and I love every part of him.
One part plot, one part character study, one part comedy. This is satisfying in a very tangible way. -
Summary
After Alec's confrontation with the Seelie Queen puts his life in danger, a desperate attempt to save him has consequences and repercussions the likes of which the Shadow World has never seen.
Canon divergent from 2x17.
This is the overarching series for my canon-divergent verse that starts with "There's a tear in my heart where your lies left a mark and now nothing is clear".
First series (completed): "Gonna Need A Spark To Ignite" - As Alec learns how to navigate his new abilities, friends and enemies alike emerge from the woodwork as the New York Institute battles against Valentine. (Title is from "My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark" by Fall-Out Boy)
Second series (in progress): "All The Ashes In My Wake" - Five years after the events of "Gonna Need A Spark To Ignite", Magnus and Alec have to face the consequences of Alec's promise to the Seelie Queen. (Title is from Hozier's "Arsonist's Lullabye")
Title for the series is from "Dynasty" by MIIA. YouTube has a lot of amazing fanvids for Malec with this song, go check them out! (Though the song itself is an angsty/breakup song, this series is not! Happy endings live here!)

Summary
What started as a simple "fork in the road" AU became a series and ate my life.
JSYK, this is a Sterek series, but they are an asexual-but-romantic pairing in an open relationship. Derek is asexual; Stiles has a FWB arrangement with Erica (with Derek's okay) but Derek and Stiles are in a committed, romantic relationship.
Here’s the official order! It gets a bit complicated because “Onwards and Upwards” is a series of shorts that take place throughout the series so chapters of it are wedged between different fics.
