Summary
During song camp, Chan writes a song with Changbin and Jisung. According to him, it's a harmless storytelling about the response of one that chases the feeling of the game without having to define the relationship. He presents it to the others, and soon the song makes it to the album, and the setlist for DominATE tour.
It would be all good, except...it's not. The problem? Or at least one that the rest of the guys warn him of? Felix. Because Chan has never really consulted him about it first, he didn't think it would be such a big deal. Yet it kind of is, given the two's history and relationship.
Unfortunately Chan can't take the song off the album or setlist, but he can give soft reassuring touches at the end of the song to apologize for it.
He'll do it every stop if he has to.

Chris places both hands on Chan’s shoulders. “You don’t have to do this alone,” he pleads. “You aren’t alone.” The older man sighs, and Chan hears him muttering about the future. But then he looks up, gaze determined. “Listen,” he says firmly, fingers digging into Chan’s skin, “you are going to change their lives.”
“Okay,” Chan says dumbly.
“I mean it. But more importantly, they are going to change yours. And I—I know how absolutely fucking impossible that feels for you. For us. And I know it’s not something that you’ll let happen overnight or anything because we’re—” He laughs, quiet but harsh. “We’re not like that. Not right now, at least. But you have to let them, okay?”
It’s so strange, Chan thinks, sitting here with the knowledge of who he is, while staring—quite literally—at the person that he will be, one day. He’s trying to reconcile the differences between himself and Chris, because it seems like such a large leap. Maybe even an impossible one.

On February 13th, this is what happens:
“That costs more than the food I give my cats,” Minho shudders, shaking his head. Changbin just shrugs, pulling out his card and giving it to the cashier. Minho’s eyes bulge out and he lunges for the credit card.
Jisung puts it on speaker, “No, manager-hyung, this isn’t a prank. Hyunjinnie and I would truly like to hire the orchestra. Yes, the strings and the acoustics—everything, please.”
“Whaddya think the others are doing?” Chan lazily flops onto Jeongin’s back, earning a half-hearted groan, “I hope they aren’t being stupid. We can’t afford any hospital trips right now.”
“Minnie,” Felix gapes, slapping a hand over his mouth, “We can’t give them that. They will genuinely end up in hospital.” Seungmin frowns, leaning in to smell the stench. He gags, immediately stepping back until he’s touching the counter.
(Or, Stray Kids celebrate Valentines Day.)

“First of all,” Chan sighs, the bags under his eyes revealing how exhausted he is, “I’m glad none of you are injured.”
“I have a bruise on my shin,” Jeongin chirps, just to be helpful. He immediately regrets it when he sees the overflowing worry on Jisung’s face and the way Hyunjin looks like he’s about to have a stroke. “It doesn’t hurt. I’m fine,” He immediately amends.
“You,” Changbin seems torn between praising Jeongin or scolding him, “Roundhouse kicked him in the crotch.” He accusingly points to wide-eyed Felix next, “And you swung him around like you were playing helicopter and he was the skipping rope.” Changbin flits his eyes to Seungmin, sees the smile of no regrets, and weakly buries his face in his hands, “I don’t even want to think about what you did.”
Minho winces, scrolling through his phone, “We’re viral. We’re so, so viral.”
(Or, BokSeungAh, and their tendency to be badass when the hyungs aren’t there to stop them.)
