Summary
Celine went missing when Rumi was 15. Her grandmother, the director of security at Honmoon inc. persuaded her to give up the luxury house, and start working for the company early. Rumi hopes to make it into the idol stream so she can be a company pop-star, but she just has to work night shift guarding the old archives for a few months.
Then one day a complete dingus shows up. He's the first real demon she's ever met - and he ruins everything!
Rumi's life, all her preconceived ideas about demons and how she feels about the company that raised her are turned upside-down.
A dystopian AU. The girls and Jinu will defeat the powers of late-stage capitalism and fascism though the power of love, friendship and awesome songs.

Summary
Nothing about the small cell of rock and metal is comfortable, but Rumi rests her head against the wall and resists the urge to lay a hand on Jinu’s face. He’s quiet, but not dead. Gwi-Ma can’t kill his leverage, but Rumi doesn’t like the alternative any more.
It’s no surprise that the demon king has a deal for her: break the Honmoon she worked so hard to create, or Jinu suffers. There is no good choice, no winning here. Jinu however, insisted on which she should choose. To hold firm, no matter what he does to him. Said that Gwi-Ma would do so much worse if she gave him a path to the surface.
She knows he’s right. It doesn’t make it any easier.
Rumi doesn’t think she’ll ever get his screams out of her head.
(Or Gwi-Ma wants Rumi to use her power to break the Honmoon. If threat of torture won’t sway her resolve, maybe it will if it’s Jinu. However, no matter what happens, Jinu continuously tells her to be strong and hold out.
Rumi doesn’t know how much longer she can last.)

Summary
Rumi should've realized it earlier.
The brand on Jinu's wrist. How cagey Jinu was when speaking of his father. How he seemed to be afraid of the man, insisting that he needed to be back in his tower after they saw the floating lanterns so his father never found out Jinu had left.
Rumi may have narrowly escaped execution thanks to Celine, Mira, Zoey, and the Saja Boys (who would've thought her girls could convince thugs who ran a bar/illegal fighting ring to help save her life?) but Jinu, back with Gwi-Ma, regardless of what he's done, is in immense danger.
And she's climbing the tower where she and Jinu first met to save him.
