It’s a slow demise as Xie Lian lets his mind track the thoughtful strokes that Hua Cheng leaves on his body, connecting them into imaginary images he tries to find in the gold watching over them. Made by the same hands, he wouldn’t be shocked if he found the same words of devotion etched into the very beams supporting the temple’s walls.
Xie Lian had always found something poetic in the way Hua Cheng had built a house for his divinity with the strength of his own worship. Time and time again, he was reminded that there were many more gods with many more temples and followers, but Xie Lian couldn’t help but think that he’d only ever needed the one if it meant that one was Hua Cheng.
The wet drag of bristles catching his nipple pulls his from the depths of his thoughts with a gasp.

Summary
Sometimes, keeping the loneliness at bay is a hard thing to do. The physical connections Kaeya makes with people might satisfy him in the moment, might give him the heat and distraction he needs, but it makes everything so, so much worse when reality hits him again and the loss of warmth reminds him just how cold and lonely he is, in a world of people who won't - or can't - ever love him. And even as it hurts him, over and over again... he can't help but seek it out again, no matter how many times he regrets it.
Lucky for him, though... there's someone out there who understands what isolation can do to someone, what it means to be different and to feel like no one gets him. And that someone is a whole lot closer to him than he might have thought.

Summary
Most of these will be written as stand alone stories. Some will have references to other stories in the series or may even be direct sequels (which will be noted in summery)
a collection of stories revolving mostly around Kaeya. Diluc will be another prominent character as well but wont be in every story. they will be ordered chronologically but will not be written as such. Most of them do not need to be read in order and I'm open to requests as long as they follow my idea for the series.
It's mostly angst but will have some humor and fluff (or an attempt at it anyways)

Summary
A freak blizzard at dragonspine’s peak ensures the first white Christmas in a long while for the people of Mondstadt. The snow brings forth bright yet unwelcome memories for Diluc, who can’t remember a pleasant Christmas since before that night.
Kaeya just wants to spend the holidays with Albedo and Klee, the rest of the knights invited of course, to their annual Christmas eve gathering. The snow this year, however, is making it increasingly hard to banish memories of Christmases past.
(Or Christmas exists in Mond but Kaeya and Diluc are still stupid stubborn siblings that can’t communicate).

Kaeya frequently gets nightmares.
It's something Albedo slowly noticed. He's a light sleeper, and often he'd hear light whimpers and moans from the other man while he slept.
They seemed to have been getting worse recently too.
Something else Albedo realises, is that physical affection seems to calm the other man down.
