Summary
For over a decade, since he was a freshman in college, Viktor has loved Jayce in silence, scrounging for any morsel of warmth and closeness while pretending it was enough to satisfy him—until it wasn’t. Beaten by the situation for years, watching Jayce graduate and move away to be with someone else, all that seems to survive is bitterness and resentment. But Viktor is apparently still hopeless, because when Jayce calls him out of the blue and asks to meet for dinner and drinks, he goes to him. Armed to the teeth, expecting another upset, but he goes.
And it better be worth it

“You do not know?”
“Know what?”
She stared at him.
“Viktor was arrested last night,” she said, and Jayce’s heart froze in his chest. “He is to be tried for indecency in two weeks.”
[Or: After unwittingly becoming a scapegoat of an elaborate plan of Piltover’s higher echelons to eschew observing their own strict laws, Viktor finds himself caught at the heart of a scandal. Jayce, raised to heed the very values which condemned him, is forced to either take the leap or stand idle and watch his life fall apart. A Maurice and Giovanni's Room inspired AU.]

Summary
“I didn’t want you to see,” Viktor says, as if it were the simplest thing.
“See what? What could we possibly have to hide from each other anymore?” But Viktor does not answer - nor does he appear to have any intention of doing so. Jayce presses, “Were you afraid it was going to make me angry? Or sad?”
There comes another long silence. Viktor tilts his head to look out of the rondel window, inviting slate shadows to inhabit the grooves of his face; his gaze is distant, drawn to the sky, as if he would like to drift off the point.
“It wouldn’t make you happy.”
In the end, two souls become one - until they don’t.
Alive and once more his own person, Jayce finds himself in the coastal city of Nashramae. There he must grapple with the indolence of an aimless life and his complicated feelings towards Viktor: who, after everything, pushed him away, but left the shell of his presence to linger in Jayce’s heart like a curse.

Summary
There was something in Astarion's voice that Elric wasn’t catching– the reason why a paladin like him was still alive in the first place. Blood welled up in a hot line across his windpipe, the dagger digging in, and Astarion’s breathing deepened as it trickled down El’s neck. The reality of it washed over him like rain.
“You want me,” he said.
“To be mine,” Astarion said, soft, “as you promised.”

Or: a dark fantasy twist on the Ascension and its aftermath, and what it means to make choices you can't take back.
--
Or: Psst. Come closer. Yeah, you. This is the absolute opposite of a redemption fic. A post-canon, fall-from-grace, "I can make you infinitely worse" kind of story, in which there is no simple happy ending. But there's mystery on the way. And dragons. True love, even. So if you're fine with that, come aboard. It's going to be a wild ride.

Summary
Northern Italy, 1982.
Viktor returns to his hometown for summer break from university. The year of distance has done little to dull what he feels for his best friend, and being back at his side will put Viktor’s unruly heart up to the challenge once again.
Meanwhile, Jayce has spent that same year learning just how quiet life can be without Viktor in it. But why does he think about the other boy so often? No. There is nothing weird about missing his friend. He is not weird.
or
Orphaned at a young age, Viktor is adopted by Ximena and taken into his best friend's family. In the Talis house, as loving as it is God-fearing, Viktor found comfort in sharing a bedroom with the closest person he still had. Their bond only grows stronger, inevitably becoming too overwhelming for one, and too addictive for the other.
