“Alright, girls, training starts tomorrow morning. Remus tryouts are at 10 am.” Marlene said, putting down a steaming hot bowl of pasta for everyone to dig into.
“First of all, I’m not getting up that early on a Sunday. Second of all, I’m not trying out.”
“Well, I don’t think you’re going to be allowed on the team without trying out,” Lily called from across the table. Remus shot her a side-eye. “Besides, we have to be up even earlier for dryland.”
“Come on, Remus,” It was Mary’s turn. “Can you at least try out? If you hate it, you don’t have to join.”
“Will you all stop bothering me about it if I say yes?” The girls all nodded at him with toothy grins.Remus Lupin is forced by his friends Lily, Mary, and Marlene to join the swim team this year with them. He's never swum competitively, but he's built for the sport. On the first day, he meets James Potter, the extroverted team captain, Peter Pettigrew, the best distance swimmer on the team (and James' friend from high school), and Sirius Black, James' roommate and one of the few people who both swims and dives (as long as he's academically eligible of course).
So far the POV's are Remus, James, and Regulus :)

Summary
Regulus has it all figured out. He keeps men on a rotating roster so none can get too close, works nights as a dancer to make the most of his chronic insomnia, and pushes everything he doesn’t want to remember about the past ten years into the recesses of his mind. It’s easier to pretend none of it ever happened.
