Naim flushes, cheeks tinting pink. He’s gone back to nosing at Ryan’s armpit, rubbing his nose against the silky blond strands like a man starved. “It could be nine minutes or nine hours, and I'd still miss you, Ryan.”
His voice is muffled. Ryan tuts, gently pulling Naim up to his eye level with a finger beneath his chin. He can’t stop looking at Naim. His beautiful boy.

Naim’s stomach churns. He curls towards Ryan, shifting onto his side, as Ryan’s gaze lands on him, piercing. He shakes his head.
“Good,” Ryan says, lifting the cigarette to his mouth.
Naim thinks of photobooth pictures, of hot blood trickling down Ryan’s neck, of flame and fear. He presses a soft kiss to Ryan’s side, over his ribs, over the soft cotton of his shirt, and inhales his scent.

Ryan swallowed dryly, barely breathing as he watched as Naim stepped out of his pants, an embarrassed flush dusting his cheeks.
He knew Ryan was watching.
But Ryan couldn’t bring himself to stop.
Naim bent over, soft, heather grey boxer briefs hugging his pale thighs, and a little cotton string, suspiciously pink, was dangling from the border of cotton.
Ryan swallowed, and Naim bent down further, digging through his gym bag to find his shorts. His ears were bright red as he let out a frustrated huff. There was a tiny blood stain, an oval of bright red nestled between his legs, just barely obscured from Ryan’s view. And Ryan, still shirtless, hastily pulled his sports uniform over his head.
