Summary
Since he had set foot in that old house, his shadow was not quite the same. The silhouette on the ground did not always look like him. Taller, with broad shoulders and a haircut that had nothing in common with his, but Johnny hadn't noticed any of it. Something was lingering in his shadow.
As a matter of fact, he never believed in ghosts or any paranormal bullsh*t. However, he had heard many stories about this place, which had supposedly been haunted for generations. The horrific rumours coming from the nearby town amused him more than anything else.
It took only a few weeks before objects seemed to move around without him remembering moving them. Lights were switched on or off by themselves, or flickering as he passed by them. For the first time in his life, he doubted his beliefs. Perhaps he should have left room for the possibility that it was all real?
